EYPers! Are you all there? Can you hear me?My dear EYPers and participants, Let me firstly say it loud to all of you: WELCOME!!!! It is my pleasure, in the name of the whole organizing team of BARI 2005, to host all of you in the beautiful Mediterranean south of Italy, in between the two main regions: Puglia and Basilicata. For months, the team has dedicated itself with passion and determination to realize the promise to all of you: the promise to make the 50th international session special and unique to celebrate the 50th anniversary of EYP. Our mission, throughout the last months of work, has been and will be in particular to make all of you happy, satisfied and passionate about EYP.  By the power of enthusiasm and determination, BARI 2005 has been made of joining forces to celebrate at its best EYP anniversary. However, BARI2005 will not just be a session for all of you, but it will be an occasion for all of you to preserve and promote EYP’s cultural and social assets in order to enhance the quality of it and to treasure its vitality for the next generation's future. Steeped in history and at stunned by the unique natural attractions and artistic resources these places are endowed with, you will be confronted throughout the ten days you will spent all together, with diverse sensibilities, ideas, cultures, customs and experiences. In this rare gem of the Mediterranean Italy, that tells stories of our ancient past that breathes life into our present, you will find that magic that is BARI2005, with its fun, joy, and enthusiasm. Finally, I would like to say thanks to you, participants of the 50th international session, because it is due to you that BARI2005 has expanded as an idea, has grown concretely day by day and will exist in few weeks when you will arrive here and will smile at me. I really hope you will enjoy BARI2005 and that your participation contributes to your individual development and will help creating thousands, millions relationships that last forever.
